2017 will be the year of AI. The article doesn't have any specific predictions; I'm just posting to second the sentiment that AI will advance rapidly in 2017, at least as rapidly as 2016.

    With Google launching their pilot grocery store without the need for cashiers and the tech that must have been utilized to create a store that knows who you are and what you are buying just by passing your phone across a reader and calculates what you spend and charges it directly from your account... it is a scary concept to me... but this is what we call progress(?)!!!!
