When I was a kid I used to melt crayons. I specially liked to mix colors in a beautiful shape, so I would have a crayon with multiple colors and unique shapes. You can use cookie star shapes for example and put a different color on each point.

    We did very bad things with ours. We'd lay a sheet of paper on top of a bare light bulb from a table lamp, and use the heat to melt crayons on to it. Pop goes the bulb!
