An algorithm that can guess with up to 92 per cent accuracy whether a human driver will make a lane change (at least in a driving simulator) has been developed. The researchers anticipated it being the beginning of a set of algorithms that predict a lot of behavior of human drivers, and autonomous cars may adopt some behaviors themselves so human drivers can sense what they're about to do.
