As far as I'm aware the jury's still out on Omega-3's benefits. If you've not done so before I'd highly recommend looking through some of the meta-analysis done by The Cochrane Collaboration - looking at the combined evidence from high quality randomised trials of everything from Omega-3 to Acupuncture:
