can't understand why in the US it's sooo much cheaper than in Europe, since the product is not even from there..

US price:         $499   =  406 €
German price:   689 € = $847

that's crazy!

  1. I don't know how close to the Netherlands you are, but over here it's 458 €. Depending on the exchange rate, that's about the same as in the US. Hop over the border and buy it here, or maybe one of the shops below will ship to Germany

  3. just found out that the Notes 10 for that price don't have 3G, didn't even know that there was a version without it.. anyway, with 3G it's 580 €, still cheaper ;)

  4. No problem. The reviews are mixed though, Samsung's touchwiz interface apparently doesn't improve the experience

  5. Stefan Suurmeijer can we configure the language in the tablet? does it come in English if i buy in the Netherlands?

  6. Yeah, you can set the language ;-). It's just the regular Android setting. My phone is from France, but I use it with English set as default (and Dutch would be possible too)

  7. great! i'll be going there soon then :) i don't believe that when they release in UK it will be cheaper than it is in Netherlands now, right?

  9. For some reason, hardware seems to be cheaper over here than elsewhere in Europe. Maybe something to do with taxes or something. Maybe VAT is higher in the UK and Germany.
Anyway, when I travel, I usually check to see if hardware is cheaper and in Europe it rarely is. In the US it depends on the exchange rate. I still kick myself for not buying a macbook when I was in New York in 2008. The Euro was at $1.68 then. And the price of the Macbook was the same in Dollars that we had to pay in Euros. Stupid stupid ;-)
