Exactly! Since I got my Note 10.1 end of last year I don't use notebooks, diaries, agendas nor do I print .pdfs anymore =) It feels so clean and organized not having loads of paper on your desk and always being able to access all of your notes and files everywhere.. ;) Give it a try! Or maybe just one of those friends did an online search for the subject matter while connected to the same wifi. I get FB ads all the time for things my wife has accessed online and she doesn't use FB at all, pretty sure it's the common external IP address that they match up.
ReplyDeleteGoogle does the same thing. Before I opted out of targeted ads and used adblock full time, I would regularly see adverts for things I had spoken aloud about, but never ever typed on the computer.
ReplyDeleteDuncan Booth wow I'd say that's a big intrusion of Facebook. The shouldn't be able to track what everyone in the same IP are doing online. Total violation of privacy.
ReplyDeleteeric peacock at least I would trust Google a bit more than Facebook with this kind of information. Though it's totally wrong of them to spy on us like that, without being totally transparent about it.
