Perhaps this Sydney Morning Herald article was posted a few hours too early, considering a computer very recently passed the Turing test. Yes visually androids can't fool us into thinking they are human but conversationally we are reaching the point where computers can pass for being humans.

SMH wrote: "But don’t expect much meaningful conversation with this robot – or movement, either. When you get up to leave, the android sits glued to its chair; its legs, designed only for micro-movements, cannot stand or walk."
